How much notice do I need to give to place an order?
The more notice the better! I would say as soon as you are thinking of placing an order, get in touch with me to let me know. I will then be able to tell you if I will be available to take your order or if I am already booked for that day. Keep an eye on the News and Events page and on my Instagram/Facebook pages to keep updated about any days that I am fully booked/unavailable.

Orders that are placed within 2 weeks of the scheduled pickup/delivery will be considered a last minute order and payment must be made in full upfront for the order to be secured.

Please note that until a non-refundable deposit has been paid (50% of order), your order has not been secured and is not guaranteed irregardless of contact being made/discussion of order. I will do my best to keep the date free until a deposit is paid, however, if another order is made and deposit paid, then that order will take precedence.

How do I pay for an order/secure my date with a deposit?
Once you have discussed with me the date of your order and I have confirmed that it is available then you are ready to place an order! I will email you an invoice for both the non-refundable deposit (50% of total order) and final balance to be paid. Paying the deposit will secure the date for your order and paying the final balance will ensure that I can begin work on your creations in time for your specified pick up/delivery. Failure to pay the deposit or final balance may mean that your order is not accepted or finished at the time you have requested. I do not start making orders until I have received the final payment. This is to ensure that in case of cancellation, I haven’t already purchased and started using costly ingredients and to reduce wastage from unwanted orders. As mentioned, deposits are non-refundable as I may have to turn away other orders to secure your order.

How do I get my order? Is delivery available?
Yes delivery is available! You may also pick up your items from my place in St Kilda East at an arranged time. Here are the details for both options:

Pickup: During the order process if you decide you will pick up the items, I will allocate a 30 minute time period for you to pick up your order and I will provide you with my address. Please ensure that you arrive to pick up your order during this time as failure to pick up at this time may mean I may be out delivering other items and not available for you to pick up your item until a later time or day. This means your item may not be as fresh as you had expected, or you may not receive your items in time for your event.
In the event that an order is not picked up, the total amount of the order is non-refundable. Items will be held for 2 days from agreed upon pick up before being disposed of.

Delivery: In the event that you would like your order delivered, I will allocate a delivery time where someone must be available at your chosen location to receive delivered goods. I will need the address and contact details of the person I will be delivering the items to, incase I am unable to locate the person I am delivering to/unforeseen circumstances.
Delivery costs: Calculated by km from St Kilda East.
0-15km: $15
15-30km: $30
30-50km: $50
More than 50km: Custom quote dependent on distance.

Do you offer samples/tastings?
As I currently am baking to order, I unfortunately do not offer tastings/samples. If you are ordering for a large event, maybe order a small cupcake or cake order first to see if you are happy with my products/flavours.

I need to cancel my order and I have already paid. What happens now?
Unfortunately in life things beyond our control can happen! If you need to cancel your order that is totally fine, however the 50% deposit paid to secure the date of your order is non-refundable and will not be refunded. If the order is cancelled within 2 days of the scheduled pick up, the total price of the order becomes non-refundable as I may have already begun work on the order and I may have turned other orders away to secure your booking.
